Abigail Diskin 

Writer, Photographer, Poet

Abigail Diskin is a writer, editor and poet.  She graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication in June 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Minor in Women's and Gender Studies. 

Abigail is fascinated by the ways in which people interact with each other and their environment.  She writes to record stories, to capture a moment in time, to give emotion a color, a place a voice.  


Abigail's feature articles and essays have been published in Ethos Magazine, an independent, multi-cultural publication, as well as Flux Magazine, the official publication of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication.  Her feature "The First Fall After College" was recently published in F Magazine, based out of Portland.  
    
She received a Critical Mention award for Non-fiction Article in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association 2009 College Gold Circle Awards.
